Sorting Items in Categories

You can control the order of the items in your website. You should list the best selling items first in each category. You also should display some of your custom work at the beginning of each category.
In order to change the order the products appear in the category:
- Log in to Web Portal and click on the Administration tab at the top
- On the left click on Products
- On the left under Products, click on Category Management
- Select the category that you would like to work on
- Click on the tab Change Order of Products at the top
- Click and drag the item you want to move to the position you would like it to display
- Click on Save Changes
You can also remove items from the category on this same tab. To do so:
- Check the item that you would like to delete
- Click Delete Selected Items
- Click yes when you are prompted to confirm
A couple important notes about the Change Order of Products Tab
- If you are moving items, complete this before you remove items
- If you are removing items, complete this before you move items
- If the item(s) you are deleting are on the default list for the category, they will be re-added to the category automatically. In order to delete these, you should review How Items are Added to a Category
- Items highlighted in grey are ones that you do not currently have turned on
- Items highlighted in green are current webgift/dropship items.
