Proposals created in Event Planner are organized by status to let you know where they are in the process. The Event Dashboard indicator buttons show how many proposals fall into New, Sent, Accepted or Rejected statuses. The All Open Proposals indicator shows the combined number of proposals that are New, Sent, or Accepted. The indicator buttons (aside from Upcoming Events) display events for the next 365 days. If you want to see events that fall outside of this range, you can perform an advanced search and include status as a criteria.
Each proposal has one of the following statuses:
Status | Description |
New Proposal | A newly created proposal that has not been sent or printed. |
Proposal Sent | A proposal that has been either emailed or printed. |
Accepted | A proposal that you have marked as having been accepted by the customer. You can only create orders for accepted proposals. |
Rejected | A proposal that you have marked as rejected by the customer. You can still edit a rejected proposal and send it again to the customer. |
Order Created | A proposal that has been accepted and you have created the order(s) for; once you create the order(s), you can no longer modify the proposal. |
