The Visits / Orders / Conversion report will tell you how many customers have visited your website as well as how many orders have been placed.

Total Visits refers to the total number of visitors to your site. Repeat visitors will be counted each time the visit.

Unique Visitors counts each visitor only once. This will help you determine the number of people that have seen your site.

Orders counts the number of orders on your site.

Conversion Rate is the percentage of visitors to your site that place an order. The average conversion rate is 4%.

In order to run this report:

  • Log in to Web Portal
  • Click the Reports Tab at the top and then “Visits / Orders / Conversion” on the left
  • Select the month that you would like to view
  • Click Fetch me the report

If your conversion is below 4% and you want to receive more orders, this generally means that customers are not finding what they want on your site. In order to improve this, you should:

  • Create a custom product - Feature that you offer more than FTD products!
  • Verify your pricing - If your pricing is too low for your area, your customers may think that you are using cheap flowers. If it is too high for your area, your customers may be looking for better prices. Verify that your price on your site matches what you successfully sell in your store.
  • Change your homepage products - Make sure that these are your best sellers.
  • Activate GBB Pricing - Offer different price points for the items on your site. This helps show how many different items you can create!
  • Verify your cut-off times - What are your same-day delivery cut-off times? Is it possible that they are too early?
  • Add a Shop Photo - It sounds simple, but your customers like to verify you are a real florist that they could visit. Show them this by displaying a picture of your shop on your about us page.
  • Logos - Add a logo to your homepage. Your customers know your name and your logo. Brand your site with your logo so that your customers know that they have found your site.

If your conversion is above 4% and you want to receive more orders, this generally means that you need to get more people to your site. In order to improve the number of visits to your site, you should:
