Upgrade Instructions

Depending on which version of FTD Mercury you are upgrading from, you need to follow a different set of instructions.

Upgrading from FTD Mercury X1 to FTD Mercury X2

Follow these instructions to upgrade from FTD Mercury X1 to FTD Mercury X2.

Upgrading from FTD Mercury X to FTD Mercury X2

You must upgrade to FTD Mercury X1 before you can upgrade to FTD Mercury X2.

Upgrading from FTD Mercury 8.x to FTD Mercury X2

Depending on whether your server is running Windows XP or Windows 2003, you will need to follow a different set of instructions. Consult the letter included in your upgrade kit for details on which sets of instructions to use.

Windows 2003 Instructions

You need to follow these instructions in this order to upgrade FTD Mercury 8.x to FTD Mercury X2 if your server is running Windows 2003.

Windows XP Instructions

You need to follow these instructions in this order to upgrade FTD Mercury 8.x to FTD Mercury X2 if your server is running Windows XP.
