Mercury Delivery
When you open Mercury Delivery in FTD Mercury X2, you’ll find more real estate than ever before thanks to maximized windows—enabling you to view more information at the same time. With customizable screens, you now have the flexibility to view just the information you need to see at any given time. Think of the time savings!
But Mercury Delivery improvements don’t stop there. We’ve made dozens of route enhancements as well! You can now route orders for multiple dates at the same time, as well as orders from multiple stores. You can even route by order number—without selecting a zone! When you look at the order list, you can see more information about each order, including order number, time details, special instructions, recipient information, and occasion. You can also see more information about the order itself by viewing order details. Make sure you have all the information you need before you put an arrangement on a truck.
If you have non-floral order stops to make, such as to a grocery store to pick up produce for a fruit basket or gasoline for your delivery truck, you can easily add these to your routes from the map. And for those addresses that may not yet be available in postal service databases, Mercury Delivery allows you to use pushpins on the map to create a stop and then link an order. Map the impossible using FTD Mercury X2!
Audit Trail & Life Cycle
You already know how important it is to keep track of what goes on in your business. Knowing who is issuing refunds, who is changing customer information, and who is updating orders is crucial — it can mean the difference between a happy customer and a huge headache. FTD Mercury X2 makes it simple to know who did what with Audit Trail, Order Life Cycle, and Customer Life Cycle.
Audit trail allows you to require your employees enter their user names and passwords before performing critical tasks, such as issuing refunds, changing customer information, or receiving payment on a house account. You can be sure who was responsible if you ever need to find out. With even more flexibility when it comes to assigning window access and job functions, make sure only employees who need access to areas of FTD Mercury have it.
Customer Life Cycle provides you quick access to everything that happens to a customer account. You can see when customer accounts are created, when house accounts are assigned, when credit card information is edited or viewed, when payments are received or canceled (and which employee did it), and any other updates to the customer account. Customer Life Cycle not only shows that something happened, but what the old value was and what the new value is, making it easy to track down who made changes, when they did it, and what exactly was changed.
Likewise, Order Life Cycle helps you track even more information than before! You can see when orders were completed, updated, filed, printed, assigned, designed, delivered, canceled, or refunded. You can even print an Order Life Cycle report for a paper trail on an order.
Bar Coding
Keep your hands off the keyboard with enhanced bar coding in FTD Mercury X2! Whether you’re looking up orders in Ticket Search, taking house account payments, assigning orders to designers, marking orders as designed, or recording delivery status, you can speed up the process by using a bar code scanner. Print out your bar code lists and keep them handy at your designer station or truck return station. Your designers and drivers will see efficiency improvements right away!
Abbreviation Code Lookup
FTD Mercury has allowed you to create abbreviation and send to codes for years—enabling you to quickly type a code and automatically fill out a card message or recipient address. FTD Mercury X2 takes it to the next level by allowing you to access your list of codes while entering orders! Simply press F12 in a recipient address field or in the card message field and you’ll find all of your abbreviation codes at your disposal. You can even print a list of your codes for future reference!
PA-DSS Compliance
FTD Mercury X2 is PA-DSS certified, and can be installed into a PCI-compliant environment without worry. Many features included in this release are designed to keep customer credit card information safe, including Audit Trail, Order Life Cycle, and Customer Life Cycle. When combined with enhanced password and access control, FTD Mercury X2 provides you with the security and peace of mind you need when running your business.
Design Center Enhancements
Design Center enhancements make your design workflow even easier. You can quickly assign an order to a designer, mark the order designed, or both at the same time! And you can do it by typing in the order number or scanning the order and employee name with your bar code scanner
French Invoices
Parlez-vous français? FTD Mercury X2 fait! You can now output customer-facing forms in French. When you select French in Mercury Administration, your invoices, worksheets, trifold cards, customer statements, and point of sale receipts will be printed in French instead of English. If you’re in a French-speaking market, it’s a dream come true. Très bon!
Mercury Dashboard
Redesigned from the ground up, the Mercury Dashboard provides you with tons of information to help you keep your fingers on the pulse of your business. Not only does it show you issues that might be cropping up, it lets you drill down to correct them before they become full-fledged problems. At the end of the day, use Mercury Dashboard to make sure everything is closed out correctly before you go home.
The interactive indicators allow you to instantly search for the orders or messages that require your attention. The new Mercury Messages indicator goes even further to help you with your business. Not only does it tell you when you have new Mercury Messages in Message Center, but you can also configure it to flash if a message hasn’t been dealt with for a certain amount of time. Make sure you never miss an order deadline again!
You also have information about your system at your fingertips, including nightly backup status, your Mercury Network connection status, Internet connection information, the last sequence number, and your external IP address. Make sure your entire FTD Mercury system is running in tip-top shape, all from the Dashboard window.
But the Mercury Dashboard is much more than just shop and status indicators. It is also a connection to FTD—through Mercury Support & Education messages. When there are important happenings in Mercury Technology, you’ll be informed right on the Dashboard!
