ALERT: FTD Credit Card, Order, Message Transmission

Users are currently experiencing errors when attempting to process credit card, send orders, and messages through the Mercury Network.

Orders

  • For all users we recommend that you attempt to phone out your orders until this issue is resolved.
  • Please do not attempt to send general messages to get back online. This will slow the process when normal operation resumes.

If you do not wish to phone out your orders please use the process below for your respective technology platform.

  • FTD Mercury Users
    • Your system will continue to attempt order transmission every 5 minutes, if this fails you will receive a Communications Alert
    • When order transmission resumes your orders will automatically transmit
  • Mercury Direct Users:
    • You can attempt to "transmit now", this will succeed when transmission is again possible.

  • FTD Mercury Users: no action is required, your credit cards will automatically reprocess when authorization begin to go through.
  • Advantage Users: please attempt to reprocess your credit cards, they will go through once authorizations begin to go through.

If you wish to MANUALLY AUTHORIZE your credit cards, please use the below information to obtain voice authorizations.

Your terminal number is usually 01. To check what terminal number you have look at a previous transaction receipt and the last 2 digits of the Term ID listed at the top of the receipt will be the numbers you will use after your FTD code # when calling for voice authorizations on Visa and Mastercard only. If unsure of your terminal ID please check your monthly Confirmation of Credit Cards report and the first 2 digits on any transaction line item will be the numbers you use.
