FTD Mercury Point of Sale has been enhanced to use the EROS Application Program Interface (EAPI). Previously, the Mercury Network Application Program Interface (MNAPI) was used to communicate with EROS.
EAPI is enabled through automatic software updates on your FTD Mercury system. When FTD Mercury X5 is installed, a new EAPI username and password is created and stored.
For more information on the specific EAPI configuration settings, see Mercury Administration: Mercury Connection Screen.
