EAPI Configuration

FTD Mercury Point of Sale has been enhanced to use the EROS Application Program Interface (EAPI). Previously, the Mercury Network Application Program Interface (MNAPI) was used to communicate with EROS.
EAPI is enabled through automatic software updates on your FTD Mercury system. When FTD Mercury X5 is installed, a new EAPI username and password is created and stored.

Once an FTD Mercury system is configured to use EAPI, it cannot communicate with EROS via MNAPI without configuration changes. To re-enable MNAPI, contact the Mercury Technology Assistance Center (MTAC) by calling 888-309-2244. |
