When searching for tickets, orders for purged customers are not displayed except if you search for by order number for a specific ticket.

To search for a ticket:

  1. On the FTD Mercury Main Menu, click the Ticket Search button. The Ticket Search window opens. You can also open Ticket Search by clicking Lookup in Order Entry or Point of Sale. The Ticket Search window opens, by default displaying all tickets by sale date for the current date and the seven previous days.
  2. Enter your search parameters and click Search. The results list displays a list of tickets that match your parameters.

If you know an order contained more than one ticket, you can search for individual tickets by entering the ticket number in the format SaleID/Ticket# (for example, 000342/2 would search for the second ticket in sale number 000342). You can also just enter the Sale ID in the Order # field without the slash and ticket number and see all tickets that were created for the sale.

Searching for Tickets by Customer Using Bar Codes

You can perform a quick search for tickets for a particular customer by using your bar code scanner.

To search for customer tickets using your bar code scanner:

  1. On the FTD Mercury Main Menu, click the Ticket Search button. The Ticket Search window opens. You can also open Ticket Search by clicking Lookup in Order Entry or Point of Sale.
  2. Scan the customer account ID bar code. The results list displays a list of tickets from that customer.

Searching for Tickets by Employee Using Bar Codes

Using your bar code scanner, you can also quickly search for tickets entered by a specific employee.

To use your bar code scanner to search for tickets entered by an employee:

  1. On the FTD Mercury Main Menu, click the Ticket Search button. The Ticket Search window opens. You can also open Ticket Search by clicking Lookup in Order Entry or Point of Sale.
  2. Scan the employee’s bar code ID. The results list displays a list of tickets entered by that employee. (If you selected any other search criteria, it will be cleared prior to the search and ignored.)
