Design Center has substantial support for bar code scanning when assigning orders to designers and marking orders as designed.
Assigning Orders to Designers
To assign an order to a designer using the bar code scanner:
- On the FTD Mercury Main Menu, click Designer. The Design Center Window opens.
- Scan the order number on the worksheet to locate the order.
- Scan the bar code for the designer to assign the order.
Marking Orders as Designed
To mark an order designed using the bar code scanner:
- On the FTD Mercury Main Menu, click esigner. The Design Center Window opens.
- Scan the order number on the worksheet to locate the order.
- Scan the Mark Order Designed bar code to mark the order as designed.
