After you have gathered all necessary information for the event, you can then generate a proposal to print and/or email.
To generate a proposal:
- If you are not currently in the event you want to send the proposal for, locate it in the Event Dashboard and click on it.
- Click on the Proposal button. The Proposal screen opens.
- Review the proposal. If it meets your expectations, click Send Proposal. The Send Proposal screen opens.
- Select whether you want to generate a detailed proposal (including all product descriptions) or a summary proposal.
- If desired, you can suppress product prices in the proposal, giving only location totals and the grand total.
- If you want to print the proposal, select the Print check box.
- If you want to email the proposal:
- Select the Email check box.
- In the To field, enter the email address where you want to send the proposal.
- In the Carbon Copy field, enter an email address where you want to send a copy of the proposal (if desired).
- In the Subject Line field, enter the subject line for the email address.
- Click Output.
If you selected to print the proposal, the cover letter and proposal open in separate windows; you can then print them on your local printer. If you selected to email the proposal, the cover letter and proposal are sent immediately.
