Specifying the Web Address for My Link to Open

The My Link link at the bottom of the Dashboard will open to a URL you specify. You can use this to get quick access to a specific Web address (such as your Florists Online Web site). By default, this link is configured to open Merc Tech U (floristwiki.ftdi.com).

To specify the Web address for My Link to open:

  1. On the Gadgets menu in Dashboard, click My Link. The My Link window opens.
  2. In the My Link Address field, enter the URL for My Link to open. Do not include http:// before the URL.
  3. Click Save.

When you click My Link, it opens the specified address in your Web browser.

The link you specify is on a per-Dashboard basis; each Dashboard can have a different link (if desired).
