Adding Funerals to the Funeral Log

To use the Funeral Log, you must first add the funeral from the Add Recipient window.

To add a funeral to Funeral Log:

  1. In Order Entry or Point of Sale, click the Funeral Log button. The Funeral Log window opens.
  2. Click Add. The Add Recipient window opens.
  3. In the Recipient Name field, enter the name of the recipient. You must enter a recipient name.
  4. In the Funeral area, enter the date and time for the viewing and the date and time for the service.
  5. If there is a specific delivery date, enter it in the Delivery Date field, and from the Time Detail list, select a time detail if desired.
  6. Enter funeral home information. You can either click the Facility Search button to locate the funeral home, or manually enter the funeral home information in the Facility Name, Address, City, State, Postal Code, and Phone fields.
  7. If there are any notes, add them to the Notes field.
  8. If you need orders sent to this funeral to print additional trifold cards, specify how many in the Additional Trifold Cards field.
  9. Click Save.
