Both British Columbia and Ontario have enacted legislation to use the harmonized sales tax (HST). This change is effecting on 1-July-2010. Additionally, Nova Scotia is changing its HST rate, also effective 1-July-2010. As a result, all Canadian florists using FTD Mercury need to change tax rates in their systems to ensure the collection of proper taxes on orders delivered in these provinces and territories. Please consult your local taxing authority for the correct rates to use for taxes.
