Design Center has substantial support for bar code scanning when assigning orders to designers and marking orders as designed.

Assigning Orders to Designers

To assign an order to a designer using the bar code scanner:

  1. On the FTD Mercury Main Menu, click Designer. The Design Center Window opens.
  2. Scan the order number on the worksheet to locate the order.
  3. Scan the bar code for the designer to assign the order.

Marking Orders as Designed

To mark an order designed using the bar code scanner:

  1. On the FTD Mercury Main Menu, click esigner. The Design Center Window opens.
  2. Scan the order number on the worksheet to locate the order.
  3. Scan the Mark Order Designed bar code to mark the order as designed.
