Advantage Linux Instructions

To install the Florist Directory Update on your Mercury Advantage for Linux system:

1. From the main menu, select 12 Administration, 4 System Administration, 3 Updates & Maintenance, 2 Advantage Software Updates.
2. Type 2 and press Enter.
3. Insert the CD and press Enter. Software updates are installed.
4. When prompted to eject the CD, press Enter. Do not remove the CD; close the CD drawer. The CD is needed for later updates.
5. Press 1 Florist Directory Updates.
6. When prompted for the CD, the CD is already in the drive. Press Enter. The update may take up to 15 minutes to complete.
7. At Processing Complete, press Enter. If asked to eject the CD, press Enter again. The CD ejects.
8. If you have an Internet connection, download the latest directory updates from the Internet. To do this, from the main menu, select 12 Administration, 4 System Administration, 3 Updates & Maintenance, 1 Florist Directory Updates. Then select 3 Florist Update from the Internet.
