Working with Florist Notes

This information applies to FTD Mercury X2 Fall and later versions, Mercury Connect, and Mercury Direct 5.0 and later versions. If you are an FTD Mercury or Mercury Direct customer and not on one of the versions where FTD Florist Link is included, contact the Mercury Technology Assistance Center (MTAC) at 1-800-309-2244 for information on how to upgrade to the current version.

Florist notes help you maintain valuable information for shops that fill your orders. These notes are only seen by your shop and are not published to other users.

Adding Florist Notes

To add notes for a florist:

  1. Perform a florist search to locate the florist.
  2. Click the Add Notes icon for the florist. The Florist Notes Window opens.
  3. Add your notes.
  4. Click Save.

The Florist Search Main Window will update and display an note icon for the florist.

Editing Existing Florist Notes

To edit existing florist notes:

  1. Perform a florist search to locate the florist.
  2. Click the notes icon for the florist. The Florist Notes Window opens.
  3. Update the notes as necessary.
  4. Click Save.

The next time you open the Florist Search Main Window or Florist Detail Window for this florist, the notes will be updated.

Removing Existing Florist Notes

To remove all existing notes for a florist:

  1. Perform a florist search to locate the florist.
  2. Click the notes icon for the florist. The Florist Notes Window opens.
  3. Highlight all florist notes and press the Delete key.
  4. Click Save.

The Florist Search Main Window will update and display an Add Note link for the florist.
