The Suspend message allows you to suspend your Mercury Direct system temporarily from receiving orders or messages. Administrative messages will continue to be received during the suspension period. The Host Computer automatically forwards orders sent to your console to other Mercury Members. Orders that have a delivery date after the suspension period will be transmitted to your store. FTD Flowers All Hours orders are not affected by the suspension.

The Suspend message allows you to suspend your Mercury Direct system temporarily from receiving orders or messages. Administrative messages will continue to be received during the suspension period. The Host Computer automatically forwards orders sent to your console to other Mercury Members. Orders that have a delivery date after the suspension period will be transmitted to your store. FTD Flowers All Hours orders are not affected by the suspension.

To send a Suspend message:

  1. From the Mercury Direct menu bar click Message, then click Suspend (SUS).
  2. At “Select the Account you wish to Suspend,” click the down arrow and select the account number from the drop down list. If you have multiple shop codes, you can select All to suspend all accounts.
  3. In the From Date field, type the date that you would like to stop receiving orders. Note: To learn how to use shortcuts when entering dates, and learn about valid date formats, see “Entering Dates in Date Fields” on page 24.
  4. In the From Time field, type the time (on the date that you specified in the From Date field) that you would like to stop receiving orders. Then select AM or PM in the drop down field next to the time.
  5. In the To Date field, type the date that you would like to resume receiving orders. Note: To learn how to use shortcuts when entering dates, and learn about valid date formats, see “Entering Dates in Date Fields” on page 24.
