After you have gathered all necessary information for the event, you can then generate a proposal to print and/or email.

To generate a proposal:

  1. If you are not currently in the event you want to send the proposal for, locate it in the Event Dashboard and click on it.
  2. Click on the Proposal button. The Proposal screen opens.
  3. Review the proposal. If it meets your expectations, click Send Proposal. The Send Proposal screen opens.
  4. Select whether you want to generate a detailed proposal (including all product descriptions) or a summary proposal.
  5. If desired, you can suppress product prices in the proposal, giving only location totals and the grand total.
  6. If you want to print the proposal, select the Print check box.
  7. If you want to email the proposal:
    1. Select the Email check box.
    2. In the To field, enter the email address where you want to send the proposal.
    3. In the Carbon Copy field, enter an email address where you want to send a copy of the proposal (if desired).
    4. In the Subject Line field, enter the subject line for the email address.
  8. Click Output.

If you selected to print the proposal, the cover letter and proposal open in separate windows; you can then print them on your local printer. If you selected to email the proposal, the cover letter and proposal are sent immediately.

If the new windows do not open, Internet Explorer's popup blocker may have prevented them from doing so. Ensure the popup blocker is set to allow the windows to open.
