Message Report

The Message Report lists all orders and messages that you have sent or received during the time period you specify.

Generating the Message Report

To generate the Message report:

  1. On the FTD Mercury Main Menu, click Business Reports.
  2. Double-click Mercury Forms.
  3. Double-click on the Message Report icon to open the template.
  4. If a window opens asking whether you wish to enable or disable macros, click Enable Macros.
  5. When the Message Report window opens:
    1. Click the arrow in the Start Date field to display a calendar. Use your mouse to click on the date from which your system will begin to list messages.
    2. Click the arrow in the End Date field to display a calendar. Use your mouse to click on the date that your system will end listing messages.
    3. Click Finish. The report generates and opens in Excel.
  6. To print your report from Excel, on the File menu, click Print.
  7. If you want to save the report from Excel, on the File menu, click Save.

Message Report Window

The Message Report window allows you to configure the message date range for the Message Report. Click Finish to generate the report and open it in Microsoft Excel.

The Message Report window contains the following settings:

Setting Description
Start Date Enter the starting date for the report.
End Date Enter the ending date for the report.
Wire Type Select the type of orders you want to include in the Message Report. You can select from the following types:
  • FTD
  • Flowers All Hours
  • Florists Online
  • Web Orders
  • Bloomlink
  • Teleflora
  • Dove
  • E-Florist
Order Messages Only Select this option if you want to restrict this report to order messages only.
