This information applies to FTD Mercury X2 Fall and later versions.

FTD Mercury enables you to prevent charges on house accounts. You may want to do this if a customer with a house account is delinquent in paying a bill - you can prevent additional charges without deactivating the house account entirely. When the customer is current on their payments, you can re-activate house account charges.

To prevent charges on house accounts:

  1. On the FTD Mercury Main Menu, in the Search area, click Customer. The Customer Search window opens.
  2. Perform a customer search to locate the customer.
  3. Double-click the customer in the results list. The Customer Detail Information window opens.
  4. Click the House Account tab.
  5. Select the Prevent House Charges check box.
  6. Click Save.
