To activate an employee that has been terminated:

  1. Access the Employees screen in Mercury Administration.
  2. Double-click on the terminated employee’s name. Employee details (grayed out) appear with this employee’s information.
  3. Click Activate.
  4. When the Terminate Employee window opens, click Activate.
  5. When you are prompted whether you want to activate this employee, click Yes. The Employee details become active so you may change information as needed.
  6. Click Apply to save your changes before exiting this screen.

Once you exit Mercury Administration and re-launch it, the red X that was on the employee’s name disappears.
