If you used Mercury 2000 or Mercury 3000 before upgrading to Mercury Direct, you can set the program to mimic your previous program’s function keys to reduce the learning curve. To do this, from the main menu click the Help menu, then click either M3K Emulation or M2K Emulation:
To remove M3K or M2K Emulation (to use Mercury Direct standard function keys), select the checked option again and the check mark will be removed, thus removing any emulation that you selected.
If you set the program to use M3K Emulation, the following function keys are enabled: Available from the main menu:
- F1 - Input (Submit)
- F2 - Transmit (Transmit Now)
Available from Florist Search:
- F2 - Select highlighted florist for order
- F7 - Add note to highlighted florist
- F9 - Delete note from highlighted florist
- F6 - Change status (Preferred/Not Preferred)
If you set the program to use M2K Emulation, the following function keys are enabled:
Available from the main menu:
- F1 - Send order
- F2 - Send administrative message (ASK message)
Available from anywhere within the program:
- F4 - Transmit order (Transmit Now)
