If you need to disable Address Verification for some orders, FTD Mercury enables you to do so. This may happen if Address Verification returns an incorrect city for an address; if you do not disable verification when you enter the correct city, Address Verification will attempt to verify it again, perpetuating the cycle.
To enable Address Verification override:
- On the FTD Mercury Main Menu, click the Tools menu, and then click Settings. The FTD Mercury Configuration Window opens.
- Check the Enable Address Verification Override box.
- Click Save.
You must do this on each FTD Mercury client where you want to enable Address Verification override. |
After you do so, there will be a check box labeled Verify next to the recipient address in Order Entry and Point of Sale. If you uncheck this box, FTD Mercury will not attempt to verify the address you are entering.
