To make entry time faster and easier, Mercury Direct accepts several date formats. Whenever you are prompted for a date (for example, the delivery Date field when entering an order), there are several ways to enter the date. You can use any of the methods listed below, and when you press the <Tab> key to exit the field, the full date will display.
- You can type today for today’s date or yesterday for yesterday’s date.
- You can type the day of the week (for example, mon or monday, tue or tuesday, etc.).
- You can type day of the month. For example, if today is September 21st, 2010, and you type 27, the system will display 09/27/2010. If you type a day that has already passed, the system will assume that the date is that day for next month (for example if you type 25, the system will display 10/25/2010).
- You can type the full date in any of the following formats:
09/02/2010 09-02-2010 09022010 9/2/2010 9-2-2010
