Searching for a Florist in FTD Mercury or Mercury Connect

You can search for a florist from either the FTD Mercury Main Menu or from within the Florist area of the Order Entry or Point of Sale windows.

To search for a florist from the FTD Mercury Main Menu:

  1. On the FTD Mercury Main Menu, in the Search area, click Florist. The Florist Search window opens.
  2. In the search criteria area, enter your search criteria (city, state/province, etc.). You can also set advanced search criteria in the Advanced Search area by clicking on the button menus and selecting or entering further criteria. When you have finished entering your criteria, click Search.

Florists who match your search criteria are displayed in the results list. If you entered a recipient address, that address is displayed on the map with a large green star, as are icons for any florists who service the town.

To search for a florist from Order Entry or Point of Sale in FTD Mercury or Mercury Connect:

  1. In Order Entry or Point of Sale, in the Florist area, click the Search button (...). The Florist Search window opens.
  2. In the search criteria area, enter your search criteria (city, state/province, etc.). You can also set advanced search criteria in the Advanced Search area by clicking on the button menus and selecting or entering further criteria. When you have finished entering your criteria, click Search.

Florists who match your search criteria are displayed in the results list. If you entered a recipient address, that address is displayed on the map with a large green star, as are icons for any florists who service the town. If you double-click on a florist name in the results list or from the map, that florist is selected and you are returned to Order Entry or Point of Sale.

Searching for a Florist from Mercury Direct

To search for a florist from Mercury Direct:

  1. On the Mercury Direct Main Menu, click the Florist Search button. You can also click the magnifying glass button in the Filling Florist area from the Create an Order screen (or other screens in Mercury Direct).
  2. In the search criteria area, enter your search criteria (city, state/province, etc.). You can also set advanced search criteria in the Advanced Search area by clicking on the button menus and selecting or entering further criteria. When you have finished entering your criteria, click Search.

Florists who match your search criteria are displayed in the results list. If you entered a recipient address, that address is displayed on the map with a large green star, as are icons for any florists who service the town. If you click on a florist name in the results list or from the map, that florist is selected and you are returned to Mercury Direct with the florist information filled out for you (if you performed a Florist Search from somewhere other than the Mercury Direct Main Menu).
