Maintaining Your Service Area in FTD Florist Link Administration

This information applies to FTD Mercury X2 Fall and later versions, Mercury Connect, and Mercury Direct 5.0 and later versions. If you are an FTD Mercury or Mercury Direct customer and not on one of the versions where FTD Florist Link is included, contact the Mercury Technology Assistance Center (MTAC) at 1-800-309-2244 for information on how to upgrade to the current version.

By default, your shop only serves the city in which it is located. Information about your shop is displayed in the Main Store area of the Maintain Service Area page. If you also wish to serve other cities and have those reflected in the FTD Florist Directory, you must add Also Serve By cities. Each city is added at for a nominal fee.

To add an Also Serve By listing in FTD Florist Link Administration:

  1. In FTD Florist Link, click the Admin button in the upper right corner of the window.
  2. Log in to Florist Link Administration.
  3. Click the Service Area button.
  4. In the City field, enter the name of the city you wish to add as an Also Serve listing.
  5. From the State/Province list, select the state or province for the city.
  6. Click the Add City button.
  7. The Add Directory Listing page opens, from which you can configure FTD Florist Directory listing options. (The Add Directory Listing page is identical to the Maintain Directory Listing page.)
  8. Once you have finished configuring options for your listing, click Update.

An FTD employee will call you to confirm your changes and advise you on pricing and processing time.
